Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a non-chemical based treatment which utilises a client’s own platelets to rejuvenate and heal the skin from a variety of conditions. The procedure involves withdrawing of a blood sample from the client, this sample is subsequently placed into a centrifuge machine where it is spun for 10-15 minutes while the client has their skin cleansed and topical anaesthetic is applied.
Once the sample is ready the upper portion of the sample which consists of platelets is transferred into a syringe for application, ready for use on the client. The plasma can be used when microneedling or injected with a syringe or canula into the skin. The procedure is almost painless and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. Further applications may be necessary depending on the conditions treated and further treatments may be required after 1 – 3 months. Pricing Single Treatment – £450 Course of 3 Treatments – £1200 It is recommended that clients have one treatment every month for three months, followed by further treatments 3-12 months apart
Hair Restoration with PRP – Regrow Your Hair Naturally
Our Hair Restoration with PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatment is a natural solution to hair loss that can help you regrow thicker, fuller, and healthier hair. Using a small sample of your own blood, we extract the PRP, which is then injected into the scalp to stimulate hair growth. PRP contains growth factors that promote the regeneration of hair follicles and increase blood circulation to the scalp, resulting in healthier hair growth. Our experienced practitioners will work with you to develop a customized treatment plan that fits your specific needs and hair goals. With our Hair Restoration with PRP treatment, you can achieve a fuller head of hair and boost your confidence.
This treatment uses platelet-rich plasma in high concentrations. The number of platelet concentrations has been proven to have a direct correlation with a positive outcome. The higher the number of platelets the better the results. These platelets which contain ‘growth factors’ promote and trigger cell proliferation and repair promoting a significant increase in the quality and quantity of hair growth per cm2, hair count, and thickness. PRP is known to have powerful anti-inflammatory properties which suppress cytokine release and reduces inflammatory hair loss such is the case of Alopecia Areata. This treatment consists of collecting a sample of blood, normally about 20mls, and placing it on a centrifuge machine for separation of the platelet-rich and poor plasma, once the plasma is extracted from the blood and separated into PRP and PPR (platelet-poor plasma), the PRP is then injected on the specific area of the body where it’s needed for cell regeneration & repair.
